1 Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Enzo Pellecchia ("We", "Us", "Our") handles information when you use the SocialQuiz Android application, and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

2 Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Words with capitalised initial letters have meanings defined below, applying equally in singular and plural forms.

Definitions

• Application — the Android software program named SocialQuiz.
• Company — refers to Enzo Pellecchia, independent developer, Italy.
• Country — refers to Italy.
• Device — any device that can access the Service (smartphone, tablet).
• Personal Data — any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Service — refers to the Application.
• You — the individual accessing or using the Service (the quiz host).
• Guests / Players — participants who join a quiz session via browser, without installing any app.

3 Data Collected and How We Use It

Data We Do NOT Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device (Host)

• Custom quizzes — questions, answers, and images you create are stored only on your device's local storage.
• Game session history — past session scores stored locally for reference.
• In-app purchase tokens — the token balance (number of unlimited-player sessions purchased) is verified by Google Play Billing and stored on-device. The Company has no direct access to this data.

Guest / Player Data

When a guest joins a quiz session, they enter a display nickname. This nickname:

• Is used solely for the duration of the game session.
• Is transmitted only over the local Wi-Fi or hotspot network between the guest's browser and the host's device.
• Is never sent to any external server or retained after the session ends.
• Is not linked to any persistent identity or account.

Automatic Cloud Backup (Android Auto Backup)

The Application uses Android's built-in Auto Backup to back up app data to your personal Google Drive account. This backup:

• Is associated exclusively with your own Google account — the Company has no access to it.
• Is encrypted by Google and stored in a private area of your Google Drive.
• Is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Internet Access

The Application uses internet access only for:

• In-app purchases: Processing token pack payments via Google Play Billing. No payment data is handled directly by the app.
• Google Play Games Services (optional): Leaderboard submission (nicknames and scores only). Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4 In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

SocialQuiz offers optional token packs (e.g. 5 tokens for €20). Each token unlocks one unlimited-player game session. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The Company does not collect or store any payment card information. Transaction data is governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.

5 Google Play Games Services (Optional)

SocialQuiz optionally integrates Google Play Games Services for global leaderboards. If you choose to use this feature:

• Your Google Play Games nickname and leaderboard score are submitted directly to Google's servers via the Google Play Games SDK.
• The Company has no access to this data.
• This feature is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• You can manage or delete your Google Play Games data at any time via your Google account settings.
• The leaderboard feature can be skipped entirely — it is not required to use the app.

6 Disclosure of Personal Data

Law Enforcement

The Company may be required to disclose Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Other Legal Requirements

The Company may disclose Personal Data to: comply with a legal obligation; protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing; protect the personal safety of users; or protect against legal liability.

7 Security of Personal Data

Since SocialQuiz does not transmit personal data to external servers, the principal security considerations are the security of your own device and your Google account (for Auto Backup and Google Play Games). We encourage you to use device-level security (screen lock, encryption). We cannot guarantee absolute security of any electronic system.

8 Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA / UK GDPR / LGPD)

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data

SocialQuiz does not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes.

Applicable Regulations

Since the Company collects no personal data on its own servers, the compliance obligations under the following regulations are minimal. Nonetheless, your rights are respected:

• EU GDPR & UK GDPR: As an EU-based developer (Italy), all processing complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and its UK equivalent (UK GDPR, retained post-Brexit). No personal data is processed by the Company.
• CCPA (California, USA): We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information for commercial purposes. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt-out — though there is nothing to opt out of.
• LGPD (Brazil): In accordance with Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Law No. 13,709/2018), no personal data is collected or processed by the Company. Any data handled by Google (Play Billing / Play Games) is subject to Google's own privacy policy.

Your Rights

• Access & Portability: All data is stored on your device — you have full access at all times.
• Deletion: You can delete all local app data by uninstalling the app, or delete specific items within the app.
• Google Play Games data: Manage via your Google account settings.
• Android Auto Backup: Manage via your Google Drive settings.
• Non-discrimination: We do not discriminate for exercising your privacy rights.

9 Children's Privacy (COPPA)

SocialQuiz is designed for use by adults and teenagers aged 13 and over, in contexts such as bars, restaurants, private parties, and events. In compliance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions:

• The app is not intended for children under 13.
• We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
• If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through this app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
• Guest nicknames entered during game sessions are ephemeral, not stored, and not linked to any identity — they are handled the same way regardless of the user's age.

10 Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating this page and revising the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are effective when posted on this page.

• Società — si riferisce a Enzo Pellecchia, sviluppatore indipendente, Italia.
• Paese — si riferisce all'Italia.
• Dispositivo — qualsiasi dispositivo in grado di accedere al Servizio (smartphone, tablet).
• Dati Personali — qualsiasi informazione che si riferisce a un individuo identificato o identificabile.
• Servizio — si riferisce all'Applicazione.
• Lei / Tu — l'individuo che accede o utilizza il Servizio (il gestore del quiz).
• Ospiti / Giocatori — partecipanti che si uniscono a una sessione quiz tramite browser, senza installare alcuna app.

3 Dati Raccolti e Utilizzo

Dati che NON Raccogliamo

Dati Archiviati Localmente sul Dispositivo del Gestore

• Quiz personalizzati — le domande, le risposte e le immagini create dall'utente vengono archiviate solo nella memoria locale del dispositivo.
• Storico delle sessioni di gioco — i punteggi delle sessioni passate vengono archiviati localmente a scopo di consultazione.
• Saldo gettoni acquisti in-app — il saldo dei gettoni (sessioni con giocatori illimitati acquistate) viene verificato da Google Play Billing e archiviato sul dispositivo. La Società non ha accesso diretto a tali dati.

Dati degli Ospiti / Giocatori

Quando un ospite si unisce a una sessione quiz, inserisce un nickname. Questo nickname:

• Viene utilizzato esclusivamente per la durata della sessione di gioco.
• Viene trasmesso solo sulla rete Wi-Fi locale o hotspot tra il browser dell'ospite e il dispositivo del gestore.
• Non viene mai inviato a server esterni né conservato al termine della sessione.
• Non è collegato ad alcuna identità persistente o account.

Backup Cloud Automatico (Android Auto Backup)

L'Applicazione utilizza la funzione Android Auto Backup per eseguire automaticamente il backup dei dati sul Suo account Google Drive personale. Questo backup:

• È associato esclusivamente al Suo account Google — la Società non ha accesso a esso.
• È crittografato da Google e archiviato in un'area privata di Google Drive.
• È disciplinato dall'Informativa sulla Privacy di Google.

Accesso a Internet

L'Applicazione utilizza l'accesso a Internet esclusivamente per:

• Acquisti in-app: Elaborazione dei pagamenti per i pacchetti gettoni tramite Google Play Billing. Nessun dato di pagamento è gestito direttamente dall'app.
• Google Play Giochi (opzionale): Invio del punteggio alla classifica globale (solo nickname e punteggio). Disciplinato dall'Informativa sulla Privacy di Google.

4 Acquisti In-App (Google Play Billing)

SocialQuiz offre pacchetti gettoni opzionali (es. 5 gettoni a €20). Ogni gettone sblocca una sessione di gioco con giocatori illimitati. L'elaborazione dei pagamenti è gestita interamente da Google Play Billing. La Società non raccoglie né archivia dati della carta di pagamento. Le transazioni sono disciplinate dai Termini di Servizio di Google Play.

5 Google Play Giochi (Opzionale)

SocialQuiz integra opzionalmente Google Play Giochi per le classifiche globali. Se si sceglie di utilizzare questa funzionalità:

• Il nickname Google Play Giochi e il punteggio vengono inviati direttamente ai server di Google tramite l'SDK di Google Play Giochi.
• La Società non ha accesso a tali dati.
• Questa funzionalità è soggetta all'Informativa sulla Privacy di Google.
• È possibile gestire o eliminare i dati di Google Play Giochi in qualsiasi momento dalle impostazioni dell'account Google.
• La funzionalità classifica può essere ignorata completamente — non è richiesta per utilizzare l'app.

6 Divulgazione dei Dati Personali

Applicazione della Legge

In determinate circostanze potremmo essere obbligati a divulgare i Suoi Dati Personali se richiesto dalla legge o da autorità pubbliche competenti (ad es. un tribunale o un'agenzia governativa).

Altri Requisiti Legali

Potremmo divulgare i Suoi Dati Personali per: adempiere a un obbligo legale; proteggere i diritti o la proprietà della Società; prevenire o indagare possibili illeciti; proteggere la sicurezza personale degli Utenti; o proteggersi da responsabilità legale.

7 Sicurezza dei Dati Personali

Poiché SocialQuiz non trasmette dati personali a server esterni, le principali considerazioni di sicurezza riguardano la sicurezza del Suo dispositivo e del Suo account Google (per Auto Backup e Google Play Giochi). La invitiamo a utilizzare la sicurezza a livello di dispositivo (blocco schermo, crittografia). Non possiamo garantire la sicurezza assoluta di nessun sistema elettronico.

8 I Suoi Diritti (GDPR / CCPA / UK GDPR / LGPD)

Non Vendiamo i Suoi Dati Personali

SocialQuiz non vende, commercia, affitta o condivide le Sue informazioni personali con terze parti a scopo commerciale.

Normative Applicabili

Poiché la Società non raccoglie dati personali sui propri server, gli obblighi di conformità delle seguenti normative sono minimi. I Suoi diritti sono comunque pienamente rispettati:

• GDPR UE & UK GDPR: In quanto sviluppatore con sede nell'UE (Italia), tutta l'attività è conforme al Regolamento (UE) 2016/679 e al suo equivalente britannico (UK GDPR, vigente post-Brexit). La Società non tratta alcun dato personale.
• CCPA (California, USA): Non vendiamo, condividiamo né divulghiamo informazioni personali a fini commerciali. I residenti californiani hanno il diritto di sapere, cancellare e rinunciare — sebbene non vi sia nulla a cui rinunciare.
• LGPD (Brasile): In conformità con la Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados brasiliana (Legge n. 13.709/2018), la Società non raccoglie né tratta dati personali. Qualsiasi dato gestito da Google (Play Billing / Play Giochi) è soggetto all'informativa sulla privacy di Google.

I Suoi Diritti

• Accesso e Portabilità: Tutti i dati sono archiviati sul Suo dispositivo — ne ha pieno controllo in ogni momento.
• Eliminazione: Può eliminare tutti i dati locali dell'app disinstallando l'applicazione, oppure eliminare elementi specifici direttamente dall'app.
• Dati Google Play Giochi: Gestibili dalle impostazioni dell'account Google.
• Android Auto Backup: Gestibile dalle impostazioni di Google Drive.
• Non-discriminazione: Non discriminiamo per l'esercizio dei diritti sulla privacy.

9 Tutela dei Minori (COPPA)

SocialQuiz è progettata per adulti e ragazzi dai 13 anni in su, in contesti quali bar, ristoranti, feste private ed eventi. In conformità con il Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) statunitense e le normative equivalenti in altre giurisdizioni:

• L'app non è destinata a bambini di età inferiore ai 13 anni.
• Non raccogliamo consapevolmente dati personali di minori di 13 anni.
• Se sei un genitore o tutore e ritieni che tuo figlio abbia fornito informazioni tramite questa app, ti preghiamo di contattarci e adotteremo le misure appropriate.
• I nickname degli ospiti inseriti durante le sessioni di gioco sono temporanei, non archiviati e non collegati ad alcuna identità — vengono gestiti allo stesso modo indipendentemente dall'età dell'utente.
